Create or update Intercom users for new Olark messages

First, we need to connect Olark and Intercom to Zapier.

  Create Zapier account.

  Create Zapier account if you don't have one.

  Connect Olark to Zapier.

  Give Zapier access to your Olark account, using Olark credentials.

• 

  Connect Intercom to Zapier.

  Give Zapier access to your Intercom account, using Intercom credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of Zapier.

  Set up a Trigger action for Olark

  Choose the following trigger: New Message (Triggers once for each message when we get a transcript.).

  Then set up an Action for Intercom

  Choose this action: Create/Update User (Update a user within Intercom given their e-mail address.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between Olark and Intercom.

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use
