Update new Intercom users with social and company info from Clearbit

First, we need to connect Intercom and Clearbit to Zapier.

• 

  Create Zapier account.

  Create Zapier account if you don't have one.

• 

  Connect Intercom to Zapier.

  Give Zapier access to your Intercom account, using Intercom credentials.

• 

  Connect Clearbit to Zapier.

  Give Zapier access to your Clearbit account, using Clearbit credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of Zapier.

• 

  Set up a Trigger action for Intercom

  Choose the following trigger: New User (Triggers when a new user is created.).

• 

  Then set up an Action for Clearbit

  Choose this action: Find Person And/Or Company (Finds a person and their company by their email address. If the person is not found, company information only will be returned (if found).).

• 

  Then set up another Action for Intercom

  Choose this action: Create/Update User (Update a user within Intercom given their e-mail address.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between Intercom and Clearbit.

• 

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use
