Add Square transactions to Google Drive

First, we need to connect Square and Google Sheets to IFTTT.

  Create IFTTT account.

  Create IFTTT account if you don't have one.

• 

  Connect Square to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Square account, using Square credentials.

• 

  Connect Google Sheets to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Google Sheets account, using Google Sheets credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.

  Set up a Trigger action for Square

  Choose the following trigger: Any new settlement (This Trigger fires every time a new settlement is posted to your Square Merchant account.).

• 

  Then set up an Action for Google Sheets

  Choose this action: Add row to spreadsheet (This action will add a single row to the bottom of the first worksheet of a spreadsheet you specify. Note: a new spreadsheet is created after 2000 rows.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between Square and Google Sheets.

• 

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use

  Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Add Square transactions to Google Drive!
