Add new tracks from artists you follow on Soundcloud to a Spotify playlist and get an email

First, we need to connect SoundCloud, Spotify and Email to IFTTT.

• 

  Create IFTTT account.

  Create IFTTT account if you don't have one.

• Connect SoundCloud to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your SoundCloud account, using SoundCloud credentials.

• Connect Spotify to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Spotify account, using Spotify credentials.

• 

  Connect Email to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Email account, using Email credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.

• Set up a Trigger action for SoundCloud

  Choose the following trigger: New public track by anyone you follow (This Trigger fires every time a new public track is uploaded by anyone you follow.).

• Then set up an Action for Spotify

  Choose this action: Add track to a playlist (This Action will search for a track and add the first result to a playlist you specify.).

• 

  Then set up another Action for Email

  Choose this action: Send me an email (This Action will send you an HTML based email. Images and links are supported.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between SoundCloud, Spotify and Email.

• 

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use

  Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Add new tracks from artists you follow on Soundcloud to a Spotify playlist and get an email!
