Tag your check-ins as workouts to add them to your Google Calendar

First, we need to connect Foursquare and Google Calendar to IFTTT.

  Create IFTTT account.

  Create IFTTT account if you don't have one.

  Connect Foursquare to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Foursquare account, using Foursquare credentials.

• 

  Connect Google Calendar to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Google Calendar account, using Google Calendar credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.

  Set up a Trigger action for Foursquare

  Choose the following trigger: New check-in tagged (This trigger fires every time you check in on Foursquare or Swarmwith a single hashtag in the shout (e.g. #IFTTT).).

  Then set up an Action for Google Calendar

  Choose this action: Quick add event (This Action will add an event to your Google Calendar. Simply include a detailed description of when and what.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between Foursquare and Google Calendar.

• 

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use

  Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Tag your check-ins as workouts to add them to your Google Calendar!
