Send Slack channel messages for new or updated tickets in ConnectWise Manage

First, we need to connect ConnectWise Manage and Slack to Zapier.

• 

  Create Zapier account.

  Create Zapier account if you don't have one.

• 

  Connect ConnectWise Manage to Zapier.

  Give Zapier access to your ConnectWise Manage account, using ConnectWise Manage credentials.

• 

  Connect Slack to Zapier.

  Give Zapier access to your Slack account, using Slack credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of Zapier.

• Set up a Trigger action for ConnectWise Manage

  Choose the following trigger: New/Updated Ticket (Triggers when a service ticket is created and/or updated.).

  Then set up an Action for Slack

  Choose this action: Send Channel Message (Post a new message to a specific #channel you choose. Can also schedule a message for later.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between ConnectWise Manage and Slack.

• 

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use

  Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Send Slack channel messages for new or updated tickets in ConnectWise Manage!
