First, we need to connect Twitter and Google Contacts to IFTTT.

  Create IFTTT account.

  Create IFTTT account if you don't have one.

  Connect Twitter to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Twitter account, using Twitter credentials.

  Connect Google Contacts to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Google Contacts account, using Google Contacts credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.

  Set up a Trigger action for Twitter

  Choose the following trigger: New follower (This Trigger fires every time a new user starts following you.).

• 

  Then set up an Action for Google Contacts

  Choose this action: Create new contact (This Action will create a new contact in Google Contacts.).

• 

  Then set up another Action for Twitter

  Choose this action: Post a tweet with image (This Action will post a new tweet to your Twitter account with a linked pic.twitter.com image. NOTE: Please adhere to Twitter’s Rules and Terms of Service.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between Twitter and Google Contacts.

• 

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use
