Part I
Configure Applications
First, we need to connect Slack and SMS to Zapier.
Create Zapier account.

Connect Slack to Zapier.
Give Zapier access to your Slack account, using Slack credentials.

Give Zapier access to your SMS account, using SMS credentials.

Build an integration workflow

Set up a Trigger action for Slack
Choose the following trigger: New Mention (Triggers when a username or highlight word is mentioned in a public #channel.).
Then set up an Action for SMS
Choose this action: Send SMS (Send an SMS to a number. Notice that a successful action means that the SMS has been queued, not delivered.).

Test and Publish
Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.
Customize data flow
Configure the data that is exchanged between Slack and SMS.
Test the workflow and turn it on for production use
Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Send SMS messages when new Slack mentions are created!
