Part I
Configure Applications
First, we need to connect RescueTime and Slack to IFTTT.
Create IFTTT account.
Create IFTTT account if you don't have one.
Connect RescueTime to IFTTT.
Give IFTTT access to your RescueTime account, using RescueTime credentials.
Connect Slack to IFTTT.
Give IFTTT access to your Slack account, using Slack credentials.

Build an integration workflow
Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.
Set up a Trigger action for RescueTime
Choose the following trigger: New highlight is added (This Trigger fires every time you add a new highlight event in RescueTime.).
Then set up an Action for Slack
Choose this action: Post to channel (This Action will post a message to the channel you choose in Slack.).

Test and Publish
Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

Configure the data that is exchanged between RescueTime and Slack.
