Saved to Pocket and to Bitly

First, we need to connect Pocket and Bitly to IFTTT.

  Create IFTTT account.

  Create IFTTT account if you don't have one.

  Connect Pocket to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Pocket account, using Pocket credentials.

• 

  Connect Bitly to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Bitly account, using Bitly credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.

  Set up a Trigger action for Pocket

  Choose the following trigger: Any new item (This Trigger fires every time any new item is added to Pocket.).

• 

  Then set up an Action for Bitly

  Choose this action: Add a bitlink (This Action will shorten and add a new bitlink to your bitly account.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between Pocket and Bitly.

• 

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use

  Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Saved to Pocket and to Bitly!
