Receive an email for every GitHub issue that is closed in a Repo you collaborate on

First, we need to connect GitHub and Email to IFTTT.

  Create IFTTT account.

  Create IFTTT account if you don't have one.

  Connect GitHub to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your GitHub account, using GitHub credentials.

• 

  Connect Email to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Email account, using Email credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.

  Set up a Trigger action for GitHub

  Choose the following trigger: Any new closed issue (This Trigger fires every time any issue is closed in a repository you own or collaborate on.).

  Then set up an Action for Email

  Choose this action: Send me an email (This Action will send you an HTML based email. Images and links are supported.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Configure the data that is exchanged between GitHub and Email.
