Add new Asana tasks to Github as issues

First, we need to connect Asana and GitHub to Zapier.

  Create Zapier account.

  Create Zapier account if you don't have one.

  Connect Asana to Zapier.

  Give Zapier access to your Asana account, using Asana credentials.

• 

  Connect GitHub to Zapier.

  Give Zapier access to your GitHub account, using GitHub credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of Zapier.

  Set up a Trigger action for Asana

  Choose the following trigger: New Task in Project (Legacy) (Triggered when you add a new task to a project.).

  Then set up an Action for GitHub

  Choose this action: Create Issue (Create a new issue.).

• Then set up another Action for Asana

  Choose this action: New Task (Triggered when a Task is added to a Project.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between Asana and GitHub.

• 

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use
