Merge templates and send email in Zoho Writer from new leads in Zoho CRM

First, we need to connect Zoho CRM and Zoho Writer to Zapier.

  Create Zapier account.

  Connect Zoho CRM to Zapier.

  Give Zapier access to your Zoho CRM account, using Zoho CRM credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of Zapier.

  Set up a Trigger action for Zoho CRM

  Choose the following trigger: New Lead (Triggers when a new lead is created. If you are on a paid plan for the Zoho CRM then it is advisable to use New Module Entry (Instant) trigger.).

  Then set up an Action for Zoho Writer

  Choose this action: Merge a Template and Send Email (Merges a template with data from a source and send mail.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Configure the data that is exchanged between Zoho CRM and Zoho Writer.
