This automation scenario allows you to connect Twitter and Pushover
It can be build using Ifttt, a no-code workflow automation tool. Ifttt allows you to create automated bots using a simple drag-and-drop interface for non-technical users. This is a ready-made scenario, but it can be customized by adding more apps, actions, filters or branches.

Twitter and Pushover can also be integrated using automation tools other than ifttt:
When this trigger fires in Twitter
This Trigger fires every time a new tweet matches your search query. Limited to 10 tweets per check, and protected tweets will not be returned.
Then this action happens in Pushover
This Action will generate a Pushover notification to your subscribed devices

A real-time social networking platform for connecting and engaging with people
Twitter, the real-time social network, lets you share ideas, follow trends, and join conversations worldwide. Stay connected with short messages called "tweets" and engage with a diverse community.
Pushover is an instant push notification service that enables real-time notifications on Android, iPhone, iPad, and Desktop (Android Wear and Apple Watch too). Its cloud-based solution allows businesses to receive multiple push notifications from websites, devices, and applications.
IFTTT helps to create applications connections with a simple statement: if this then that. For example: "Tweet your Instagrams as native photos on Twitter". You define a task by a trigger and an action.
