Play music when you complete a Todoist task

First, we need to connect Todoist and TRIGGERcmd to IFTTT.

  Create IFTTT account.

  Create IFTTT account if you don't have one.

  Connect Todoist to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Todoist account, using Todoist credentials.

  Connect TRIGGERcmd to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your TRIGGERcmd account, using TRIGGERcmd credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.

  Set up a Trigger action for Todoist

  Choose the following trigger: New completed task (This Trigger​ ​fires every time a task is marked as​ ​completed in Todoist.).

  Then set up an Action for TRIGGERcmd

  Choose this action: Trigger Command (This action will run a command on your computer.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between Todoist and TRIGGERcmd.

• 

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use

  Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Play music when you complete a Todoist task!
