This trigger fires when you say “Ok Google” to the Google Assistant followed by a phrase you choose. For example, say “Ok Google, I’m running late” to text a family member that you’re on your way home.

Then this action happens in Alpaca

Alpaca

Liquidate Positions in Alpaca

This action will liquidate all open positions.

Part I

Configure Applications

First, we need to connect Google Assistant and Alpaca to IFTTT.

  • Create IFTTT account.

    Choose the following trigger: Say a simple phrase (This trigger fires when you say “Ok Google” to the Google Assistant followed by a phrase you choose. For example, say “Ok Google, I’m running late” to text a family member that you’re on your way home.).

  • Then set up an Action for Alpaca

    Choose this action: Liquidate Positions (This action will liquidate all open positions.).
