Then these actions happen in Captivate and Captivate
Download a File in Dropbox
Downloads a file from a specified folder.
Upload a Media in Captivate
Uploads a new media file.
How to set up this workflow
This guide contains information on how to set up an automatic workflow that allows to Upload media to Captivate for new files in Dropbox.
Part I
Configure Applications
First, we need to connect Dropbox and Captivate to Make.com.
Create Make.com account.
Create Make.com account if you don't have one.
Connect Dropbox to Make.com.
Give Make.com access to your Dropbox account, using Dropbox credentials.
Connect Captivate to Make.com.
Give Make.com access to your Captivate account, using Captivate credentials.
Part II
Build an integration workflow
Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of Make.com.
Set up a Trigger action for Dropbox
Choose the following trigger: Watch Files (Triggers when a file is added in a folder being watched. This module retrieves number of files/folders till 4000.).
Then set up an Action for Dropbox
Choose this action: Download a File (Downloads a file from a specified folder.).
Then set up another Action for Captivate
Choose this action: Upload a Media (Uploads a new media file.).
Part III
Test and Publish
Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.
Customize data flow
Configure the data that is exchanged between Dropbox and Captivate.
Test the workflow and turn it on for production use
