This Trigger fires every time you create a new public bookmark. NOTE: excludes bookmarks marked to read later.
Then this action happens in Bitly
Add a bitlink in Bitly
This Action will shorten and add a new bitlink to your bitly account.
How to set up this workflow
This guide contains information on how to set up an automatic workflow that allows to Diigo to Bitly.
Part I
Configure Applications
First, we need to connect Diigo and Bitly to IFTTT.
Create IFTTT account.
Create IFTTT account if you don't have one.
Connect Diigo to IFTTT.
Give IFTTT access to your Diigo account, using Diigo credentials.
Connect Bitly to IFTTT.
Give IFTTT access to your Bitly account, using Bitly credentials.
Part II
Build an integration workflow
Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.
Set up a Trigger action for Diigo
Choose the following trigger: Any new public bookmark (This Trigger fires every time you create a new public bookmark. NOTE: excludes bookmarks marked to read later.).
Then set up an Action for Bitly
Choose this action: Add a bitlink (This Action will shorten and add a new bitlink to your bitly account.).

Test and Publish
Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.
Customize data flow
Configure the data that is exchanged between Diigo and Bitly.
Test the workflow and turn it on for production use
Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Diigo to Bitly!
