Publish through Buffer via Bitly

First, we need to connect Buffer and Bitly to IFTTT.

  Create IFTTT account.

  Create IFTTT account if you don't have one.

• 

  Connect Buffer to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Buffer account, using Buffer credentials.

• 

  Connect Bitly to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Bitly account, using Bitly credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.

  Set up a Trigger action for Buffer

  Choose the following trigger: Any new post in Buffer (This Trigger fires every time you add a new post to Buffer or post now via Buffer.).

  Then set up an Action for Bitly

  Choose this action: Add a bitlink (This Action will shorten and add a new bitlink to your bitly account.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between Buffer and Bitly.

• 

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use

  Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Publish through Buffer via Bitly!
