How to set up this workflow
This guide contains information on how to set up an automatic workflow that allows to Send direct messages to Slack users as soon as BrandMentions finds new mentions.
Part I
Configure Applications
First, we need to connect BrandMentions and Slack to Zapier.
Create Zapier account.
Create Zapier account if you don't have one.
Connect BrandMentions to Zapier.
Give Zapier access to your BrandMentions account, using BrandMentions credentials.
Connect Slack to Zapier.
Give Zapier access to your Slack account, using Slack credentials.
Part II
Build an integration workflow
Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of Zapier.
Set up a Trigger action for BrandMentions
Choose the following trigger: New Mentions Feed (Daily or Weekly) (Triggers when a new feed of mentions is created, daily or weekly, depending on the projects [notification settings](https://app.brandmentions.com/settings/project-settings#page/settings/section/3).).
Then set up an Action for Slack
Choose this action: Send Direct Message (Send a direct message to a user or yourself from the Slackbot. Can also schedule a message for later.).

Test and Publish
Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

Configure the data that is exchanged between BrandMentions and Slack.
Test the workflow and turn it on for production use
