Twitch stream announcement

First, we need to connect Twitch, Twitter and Google Sheets to IFTTT.

  Create IFTTT account.

  Create IFTTT account if you don't have one.

• 

  Connect Twitch to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Twitch account, using Twitch credentials.

• 

  Connect Twitter to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Twitter account, using Twitter credentials.

• 

  Connect Google Sheets to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Google Sheets account, using Google Sheets credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.

  Set up a Trigger action for Twitch

  Choose the following trigger: New stream started by you (This trigger fires every time you start streaming on Twitch.).

• 

  Then set up an Action for Twitter

  Choose this action: Post a tweet (This Action will post a new tweet to your Twitter account. NOTE: Please adhere to Twitter’s Rules and Terms of Service.).

• 

  Then set up another Action for Google Sheets

  Choose this action: Add row to spreadsheet (This action will add a single row to the bottom of the first worksheet of a spreadsheet you specify. Note: a new spreadsheet is created after 2000 rows.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between Twitch, Twitter and Google Sheets.

• 

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use

  Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Twitch stream announcement!
