Post a message to GroupMe when a Twitch event starts

First, we need to connect Twitch and GroupMe to IFTTT.

  Choose the following trigger: Stream going live for a channel you follow (This Trigger fires every time a stream is going live for the specified Channel that you follow.).

  Then set up an Action for GroupMe

  Choose this action: Post a message to group (This Action will post a new message to the group you specify.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between Twitch and GroupMe.

• 

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use

  Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Post a message to GroupMe when a Twitch event starts!
