Save photos from a Telegram channel to Dropbox

First, we need to connect Telegram and Dropbox to IFTTT.

  Create IFTTT account.

  Create IFTTT account if you don't have one.

• 

  Connect Telegram to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Telegram account, using Telegram credentials.

• 

  Connect Dropbox to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Dropbox account, using Dropbox credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.

  Set up a Trigger action for Telegram

  Choose the following trigger: New photo in your channel (This trigger fires when a new photo is posted in a public channel where you are an admin. The @IFTTT bot must also be an admin in the channel.).

  Then set up an Action for Dropbox

  Choose this action: Add file from URL (This Action will download a file at a given URL and add it to Dropbox at the path you specify. NOTE: 30 MB file size limit.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between Telegram and Dropbox.

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use
