Post to a Slack channel when a new Square payment is created

First, we need to connect Square and Slack to IFTTT.

  Connect Square to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Square account, using Square credentials.

  Connect Slack to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Slack account, using Slack credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.

  Set up a Trigger action for Square

  Choose the following trigger: Any new payment (This Trigger fires every time a new payment posts to your Square Merchant account.).

  Then set up an Action for Slack

  Choose this action: Post to channel (This Action will post a message to the channel you choose in Slack.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between Square and Slack.

• 

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use

  Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Post to a Slack channel when a new Square payment is created!
