Download new songs you like to Dropbox

First, we need to connect SoundCloud and Dropbox to IFTTT.

• 

  Create IFTTT account.

  Create IFTTT account if you don't have one.

• Connect SoundCloud to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your SoundCloud account, using SoundCloud credentials.

• 

  Connect Dropbox to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Dropbox account, using Dropbox credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.

• Set up a Trigger action for SoundCloud

  Choose the following trigger: New public like (This Trigger fires every time you like a public track.).

• 

  Then set up an Action for Dropbox

  Choose this action: Add file from URL (This Action will download a file at a given URL and add it to Dropbox at the path you specify. NOTE: 30 MB file size limit.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between SoundCloud and Dropbox.

• 

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use

  Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Download new songs you like to Dropbox!
