This automation scenario allows you to connect Shopify and Mailchimp
It can be build using Zapier, a no-code workflow automation tool. Zapier allows you to create automated scripts using a simple drag-and-drop interface for non-technical users. This is a ready-made scenario, but it can be customized by adding more apps, actions, filters or branches.

Part I
First, we need to connect Shopify and Mailchimp to Zapier.
Create Zapier account.
Create Zapier account if you don't have one.
Connect Shopify to Zapier.
Give Zapier access to your Shopify account, using Shopify credentials.
Connect Mailchimp to Zapier.
Give Zapier access to your Mailchimp account, using Mailchimp credentials.
Part II
Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of Zapier.
Set up a Trigger action for Shopify
Choose the following trigger: New Abandoned Cart (Triggers whenever a cart is "abandoned" (only open carts) (with line item support).).
Then set up an Action for Mailchimp
Choose this action: Add/Update Subscriber (Add a new subscriber to an audience of your choosing. Can be used to update an existing subscriber too.).
Then set up another Action for Mailchimp
Choose this action: Add Subscriber to Tag (Add an email address to a tag within an audience. Note: the email address **must already be subscribed to the audience**, or this will fail.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.
