This guide contains information on how to set up an automatic workflow that allows to Create ClickUp tasks from new Google Drive uploads and send a Slack message.
Part I
Configure Applications
First, we need to connect Google Drive, ClickUp and Slack to Make.com.
Create Make.com account.
Create Make.com account if you don't have one.
Connect Google Drive to Make.com.
Give Make.com access to your Google Drive account, using Google Drive credentials.
Connect ClickUp to Make.com.
Give Make.com access to your ClickUp account, using ClickUp credentials.
Connect Slack to Make.com.
Give Make.com access to your Slack account, using Slack credentials.
Part II
Build an integration workflow
Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of Make.com.
Set up a Trigger action for Google Drive
Choose the following trigger: Watch Files in a Folder (Triggers when a file is created or modified in a selected folder.).
Then set up an Action for Google Drive
Choose this action: Download a File (Downloads a file.).
Then set up another Action for ClickUp
Choose this action: Create a Task (Creates new task in a specific list or sub-task in a specific task.).
Then set up another Action for Slack
Choose this action: Upload a File (Creates or uploads a file.).
Part III
Test and Publish
Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.
Customize data flow
Configure the data that is exchanged between Google Drive, ClickUp and Slack.
Test the workflow and turn it on for production use
