This automation scenario allows you to connect Google Drive and Slack
It can be build using Ifttt, a no-code workflow automation tool. Ifttt allows you to create automated bots using a simple drag-and-drop interface for non-technical users. This is a ready-made scenario, but it can be customized by adding more apps, actions, filters or branches.

This trigger fires every time a new file is starred in a specified Google Drive folder. Note: only works for files created and starred after the Applet is turned on.
Then this action happens in Slack
This Action will post a message to the channel you choose in Slack.
This guide contains information on how to set up an automatic workflow that allows to Share starred files from a specific Drive folder to a Slack channel.
Part I
First, we need to connect Google Drive and Slack to IFTTT.
Create IFTTT account.
Create IFTTT account if you don't have one.
Connect Google Drive to IFTTT.
Give IFTTT access to your Google Drive account, using Google Drive credentials.
Connect Slack to IFTTT.
Give IFTTT access to your Slack account, using Slack credentials.
Part II
Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.
Set up a Trigger action for Google Drive
Choose the following trigger: New starred file in folder (This trigger fires every time a new file is starred in a specified Google Drive folder. Note: only works for files created and starred after the Applet is turned on.).
Then set up an Action for Slack
Choose this action: Post to channel (This Action will post a message to the channel you choose in Slack.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

Configure the data that is exchanged between Google Drive and Slack.
Test the workflow and turn it on for production use
Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Share starred files from a specific Drive folder to a Slack channel!
