This automation scenario allows you to connect Google Drive and Email
It can be build using Ifttt, a no-code workflow automation tool. Ifttt allows you to create automated scripts using a simple drag-and-drop interface for non-technical users. This is a ready-made scenario, but it can be customized by adding more apps, actions, filters or branches.

Part I
First, we need to connect Google Drive and Email to IFTTT.
Create IFTTT account.
Create IFTTT account if you don't have one.
Connect Google Drive to IFTTT.
Give IFTTT access to your Google Drive account, using Google Drive credentials.
Connect Email to IFTTT.
Give IFTTT access to your Email account, using Email credentials.
Part II
Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.
Set up a Trigger action for Google Drive
Choose the following trigger: New file in your folder (This trigger fires every time a new file is added to the Google Drive folder you specify. Note: Does not work for Google Docs, Forms, or Sheets files.).
Then set up an Action for Email
Choose this action: Send me an email (This Action will send you an HTML based email. Images and links are supported.).
Part III
Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

Configure the data that is exchanged between Google Drive and Email.
Test the workflow and turn it on for production use
Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Get an email with every new Google Doc!
