Buffer a Gif

First, we need to connect Giphy and Buffer to IFTTT.

  Create IFTTT account.

  Connect Giphy to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Giphy account, using Giphy credentials.

  Connect Buffer to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Buffer account, using Buffer credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.

  Set up a Trigger action for Giphy

  Choose the following trigger: New random GIF based on keyword (This Trigger fires every time a new random GIF on GIPHY matches a search query you specify.).

  Then set up an Action for Buffer

  Choose this action: Add photo to Buffer (This Action will add a photo to Buffer. If your Buffer is full then the post will be skipped.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between Giphy and Buffer.

• 

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use

  Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Buffer a Gif!
