Create or update Intercom users from new emails

First, we need to connect Email and Intercom to Zapier.

  Create Zapier account.

  Create Zapier account if you don't have one.

  Connect Email to Zapier.

  Give Zapier access to your Email account, using Email credentials.

  Connect Intercom to Zapier.

  Give Zapier access to your Intercom account, using Intercom credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of Zapier.

  Set up a Trigger action for Email

  Choose the following trigger: New Inbound Email (Triggers when an email is forwarded to your own custom **zapiermail.com** address.).

  Then set up an Action for Intercom

  Choose this action: Create/Update User (Update a user within Intercom given their e-mail address.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Configure the data that is exchanged between Email and Intercom.
