Add new Bigcommerce customers as new Mailchimp subscribers

First, we need to connect BigCommerce and Mailchimp to Zapier.

  Create Zapier account.

  Create Zapier account if you don't have one.

• 

  Connect BigCommerce to Zapier.

  Give Zapier access to your BigCommerce account, using BigCommerce credentials.

• 

  Connect Mailchimp to Zapier.

  Give Zapier access to your Mailchimp account, using Mailchimp credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of Zapier.

  Set up a Trigger action for BigCommerce

  Choose the following trigger: New Customer (Triggers when a new customer is added.).

• 

  Then set up an Action for Mailchimp

  Choose this action: Add/Update Subscriber (Add a new subscriber to an audience of your choosing. Can be used to update an existing subscriber too.).

• Then set up another Action for BigCommerce

  Choose this action: Customer Created (Triggers when an new customer is created.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Configure the data that is exchanged between BigCommerce and Mailchimp.
