Send direct messages on Slack for new Trainerize clients

First, we need to connect Trainerize and Slack to Zapier.

  Create Zapier account.

  Create Zapier account if you don't have one.

  Connect Trainerize to Zapier.

  Give Zapier access to your Trainerize account, using Trainerize credentials.

• 

  Connect Slack to Zapier.

  Give Zapier access to your Slack account, using Slack credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of Zapier.

  Set up a Trigger action for Trainerize

  Choose the following trigger: New Client (Triggers when a new client is created.).

• 

  Then set up an Action for Slack

  Choose this action: Send Direct Message (Send a direct message to a user or yourself from the Slackbot. Can also schedule a message for later.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between Trainerize and Slack.

• 

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use
