This Trigger fires every time a new post becomes one of the ten hottest posts in the subreddit you specify.
Then this action happens in Slack
Post to channel in Slack
This Action will post a message to the channel you choose in Slack.
How to set up this workflow
This guide contains information on how to set up an automatic workflow that allows to Hot Posts to Slack Channel.
Part I
Configure Applications
First, we need to connect Reddit and Slack to IFTTT.
Create IFTTT account.
Create IFTTT account if you don't have one.
Connect Reddit to IFTTT.
Give IFTTT access to your Reddit account, using Reddit credentials.
Connect Slack to IFTTT.
Give IFTTT access to your Slack account, using Slack credentials.
Part II
Build an integration workflow
Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.
Set up a Trigger action for Reddit
Choose the following trigger: New hot post in subreddit (This Trigger fires every time a new post becomes one of the ten hottest posts in the subreddit you specify.).
Then set up an Action for Slack
Choose this action: Post to channel (This Action will post a message to the channel you choose in Slack.).

Test and Publish
Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.
