This Trigger fires every time you share any new photo on Instagram.
Then this action happens in Box
Upload file from URL in Box
This Action will download a file at a given URL and add it to Box at the path you specify. NOTE: 30 MB file size limit.
How to set up this workflow
This guide contains information on how to set up an automatic workflow that allows to Save new Instagram photos to Box.
Part I
Configure Applications
First, we need to connect Instagram and Box to IFTTT.
Create IFTTT account.
Create IFTTT account if you don't have one.
Connect Instagram to IFTTT.
Give IFTTT access to your Instagram account, using Instagram credentials.
Connect Box to IFTTT.
Give IFTTT access to your Box account, using Box credentials.
Part II
Build an integration workflow
Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.
Set up a Trigger action for Instagram
Choose the following trigger: Any new photo by you (This Trigger fires every time you share any new photo on Instagram.).
Then set up an Action for Box
Choose this action: Upload file from URL (This Action will download a file at a given URL and add it to Box at the path you specify. NOTE: 30 MB file size limit.).
Part III
Test and Publish
Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.
Customize data flow
Configure the data that is exchanged between Instagram and Box.
Test the workflow and turn it on for production use
Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Save new Instagram photos to Box!
