Bitly to append text file in Box

First, we need to connect Bitly and Box to IFTTT.

  Create IFTTT account.

  Create IFTTT account if you don't have one.

  Connect Bitly to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Bitly account, using Bitly credentials.

• 

  Connect Box to IFTTT.

  Give IFTTT access to your Box account, using Box credentials.

Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of IFTTT.

  Set up a Trigger action for Bitly

  Choose the following trigger: Any new bitlink (This Trigger fires every time you create a new bitlink.).

  Then set up an Action for Box

  Choose this action: Append to a text file (This Action will append to a text file as determined by the file name and folder path you specify. Once a file’s size reaches 2MB a new file will be created.).

Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.

  Customize data flow

  Configure the data that is exchanged between Bitly and Box.

  Test the workflow and turn it on for production use

  Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Bitly to append text file in Box!
