When this trigger fires in Amazon CloudWatch
Alarm State Change in Amazon CloudWatch
Triggers when the state of an alarm changes (e.g. from "OK" to "ALARM").
Then this action happens in Slack
Send Channel Message in Slack
Post a new message to a specific #channel you choose. Can also schedule a message for later.

Part I
Configure Applications
First, we need to connect Amazon CloudWatch and Slack to Zapier.
Create Zapier account.
Create Zapier account if you don't have one.
Connect Amazon CloudWatch to Zapier.
Give Zapier access to your Amazon CloudWatch account, using Amazon CloudWatch credentials.
Connect Slack to Zapier.
Give Zapier access to your Slack account, using Slack credentials.
Part II
Build an integration workflow
Next, we need to create a workflow automation scenario using graphical no-code web interface of Zapier.
Set up a Trigger action for Amazon CloudWatch
Choose the following trigger: Alarm State Change (Triggers when the state of an alarm changes (e.g. from "OK" to "ALARM").).
Then set up an Action for Slack
Choose this action: Send Channel Message (Post a new message to a specific #channel you choose. Can also schedule a message for later.).
Part III
Test and Publish
Finally, we need to test this automation and publish it.
Customize data flow
Configure the data that is exchanged between Amazon CloudWatch and Slack.
Test the workflow and turn it on for production use
Test your scenario and publish to production. Now you have an automatic workflow, that will Notify me in Slack when an Amazon CloudWatch Alarm is triggered!
